NCP

We believe that it is necessary to switch the current conversation on plastic, from seeing it as a cheap and disposable material to treating it as the robust and reuseable material that it really is!

Therefore NCP together with Snøhetta architects created the S-1500 chair – A chair that tells a story – made of 100% recycled plastic waste from the local fish farming industry by the coast of Helgeland in Northern Norway where NCP is located. The chair was launched in 2019, and now we have several other design chairs that is made from the same material.

We named the colour palette on the chairs Ocean – because the structure of the colours is inspired by the sea.
