Podium is a small Danish niche brand. Since 2020 we have invested our own passion and time in creating Podium.

 

At Podium we only do what we are good at - we make sofas and nothing else.

 

That's why we don't have a lot of sofas either, just a handful to choose from. And we only sell from our webshop. This means we have no expensive intermediaries, no stock, no shops.

 

A Podium sofa is only made when you click buy and can be updated with new covers and cushions or built on so that it always fits where you are in life and the ravages of time do not run away from it. We call it viable design.

 

It is not because we want to reinvent the sofa concept or revolutionize an entire industry. Actually, we just want to go back to something very basic: sofas that last longer without compromising on aesthetics.

 

This also means that Podium is transparent at all stages from design to delivery with honest materials and skilled people who honor the craftsmanship of good design. Just like our designers, who are a mix of young design talents and more experienced furniture designers.

 

Podium means platform; a platform to perform on. For us, the sofa is a stage for life - all of life.
