Trædition is a Danish furniture design brand that emphasizes detailed simplicity, functionality, and traditional Danish craftsmanship.

 

Our product line includes coffee tables, side tables, and coat racks made from sustainable materials, all of which are produced in small batches by one of Jutland's top cabinet makers.

 

Peter Jørgensen, the founder of Trædition, spent much of his childhood and youth at his father's furniture factory, where he gained a deep understanding of the furniture-making process. From conceptualizing designs to processing raw wood and assembling furniture, Peter learned every aspect of the art of furniture making. Today, he uses his knowledge to create furniture that reinterprets everyday objects with a focus on functionality and quality, making them suitable for modern homes.

 

For Peter, Trædition is not only a way of expressing gratitude to his family for introducing him to the inspiring world of furniture design, but also a means of creating his own narrative and passing on the trædition to future generations.
